Echuca Museum
Echuca Historical Society Museum operates from the National Trust and Heritage Listed ‘1869 Echuca Police Station and Lock up complex’ located in the Historic Port Precinct at 1 Dickson Street, Echuca.
It is a local history museum, with a strong focus on recording the early settlement along the Murray River. The museum is managed and operated by volunteers and is open 10am until 2pm, 7 days per week.

The Port of Echuca is a living monument to the 1870’s when it was the third largest port in Australia, outside Sydney and Melbourne and will provide you with a glimpse of what life was really like in the late 1800’s. With the Discovery Centre, steam-powered exhibits and daily guided tours, it is an attraction not to be missed.
The world’s largest fleet of operating paddle steamers have sight-seeing trips departing daily from the Echuca Wharf.
Located at 74 Murray Esplanade, Echuca it is open every day from 9am to 5pm.
